I teach Brazilian Zouk and Lambada with a focus on quality of movement, body awareness, consent, comfort and longevity. We explore anatomy, timing, musicality and connection without turning dance into rigid rules. Expect useful details, vivid imagery and plenty of room to experiment and laugh.
I teach weekly with Denver Zouk, offer follow-focused weekend workshops, and create online courses for dancers who want to study at their own pace.
I have trained with Ry'el Valendia, Gui Prada, Braz dos Santos and Gilson Damasco and taught internationally with Jerry Lai. As Co-Founder of Denver School of Social Dance and a judge for the Brazilian Zouk and Lambada World Dance Councils, I bring specific, body-aware technique together with community, curiosity and play.
